ACLS Leading Edge Fellowships for recent PhDs

In 2023, ACLS Leading Edge Fellowships will place up to 22 recent PhDs in two-year fellowship positions at organizations tackling significant social issues: from the black maternal health crisis to housing justice, and the rights of immigrant workers and students. Our host organizations this year include Gender Justice (St. Paul, MN), Movement Advancement Project (Remote), Institute for Local Self Reliance (Remote), as well as a few placements in New York City, at The Public Theater and University Settlement.

The application is very brief: résumé, cover letter, professional references, and an application questionnaire. (No reference letters are required.) Fellows receive stipends of $66,000 in the first year, and $70,000 in the second, plus health insurance and professional development funding. Fellowships begin in September 2023.

Application deadline: March 15, 2023, 9:00pm EDT. Please visit https://www.acls.org/competitions/acls-leading-edge-fellowships/ for complete position descriptions, eligibility criteria, and application information, and to register for our applicant webinar on March 1st: https://acls-org.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_eBkJnHkRQWChGqpLilH-rg.
