Adelphi University in Garden City, NY seeks to hire an adjunct instructor to teach the first half of a two semester survey of Latin American history in the fall 2014 semester. The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:40-2:55pm beginning on 4 September.  Pay is $4,152 for the course. A peer review of the course will be conducted, which could be useful for someone seeking to build a teaching portfolio.

Adelphi University can easily be reached from NYC by public transportation via a short ride on the Long Island Railroad from Penn Station, the Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn, and Jamaica Station in Queens.
