Adjunct positions at CSI

Applications for Adjunct Instructors Invited for 2018-2019:

The CORE Program at the College of Staten Island (CSI), City University of New York (CUNY) seeks part-time adjunct instructors to teach CORE 100. CORE 100 is a required general education course that introduces students to contemporary America’s constitutional democracy, multiracial society, and market economy. Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D. or terminal degree in the Humanities or Social Sciences, as well as to applicants with college-level teaching experience. Master’s degree required. CSI is committed to a diverse work environment that reflects the multicultural makeup of our student body. Compensation is governed by a collective bargaining agreement and varies somewhat according to training, experience and number of sections assigned.
