Michael Brenes, the senior archivist for American diplomacy at Yale, is the author of the forthcoming book, “The Price of Loyalty: Hubert Humphrey, Lyndon Johnson and the Struggle for American Liberalism.” He received his PhD in History from The Graduate Center, CUNY in 2014.
