Annual Leon Levy Lecture in Biography: Geoffrey C. Ward, Thurs., Sept. 27, 6:30 pm

A biographer, historian, and screenwriter, Ward is the writer or co-writer of many acclaimed PBS documentaries, including The Civil War, Baseball, Jazz, and most recently, The Vietnam War. He is also the author of 19 books, among them A First-Class Temperament: The Emergence of Franklin Roosevelt, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Francis Parkman Prize.
