April 12 GC Students Assembly

On February 22 (goo.gl/EdB9Q6[goo.gl]) and March 29 (goo.gl/9CdxZN[goo.gl]), masters and doctoral students from a dozen Graduate Center programs gathered to share grievances and plan actions together.

We will meet again on Tuesday, April 12, to unveil a GC Testimonies survey and map out collaborations for the rest of the semester.

GC students assembly, Pt. 3

Tues, April 12, 6:30-8:30pm

GC room 5409

Bring classmates, snacks, rowdy energies.

As always, we’re working in solidarity with CUNY Struggle, the Adjunct Project, the GC PSC chapter, and the larger CUNY movement. Please spread the word so we can build together, although these GC students assemblies are specifically tailored to organizing with GC students.
Graduate Center students have united with these larger formations to stop budget cuts and tuition increases (for now), and still demand a fair job contract and strike authorization that centers adjuncts’ and students’ concerns. Meanwhile, we continue to focus on activating social justice at our own campus located in the heart of NYC finance capital. We are envisioning more broadly how students and workers can transform the Graduate Center and CUNY for the next academic year and beyond. Join us in this process!
