Bibliographical Society of America fellowships

The Bibliographical Society of America, an ACLS member organization devoted to the study of the materiality of texts, is now accepting applications for the 2021 fellowship cycle. The BSA Fellowship program is designed to support research on the materiality of texts; that is, the production, circulation, collecting history, and other materially-focused approaches to the history the book broadly conceived.

BSA offers more than a dozen fellowships, among them the Dorothy Porter Wesley Fellowship, which supports bibliographic research conducted by any researcher who identifies as Black; two fellowships supporting research material texts and textual culture of North America; a fellowship in Culinary Bibliography for the study of print or manuscript cookbooks; and three Short Term Fellowships supporting research on any topic relating to bibliography.
