CityTech in Brooklyn Heights, NY is seeking a reader

New York City College of Technology (CityTech) in Brooklyn Heights, NY is seeking a reader to assist a visually-impaired history instructor in class administration activities.  The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or higher in history or a related field.  Tasks include reading students’ handwritten work, finding appropriate images for use in class, assistance in showing the images or other AV material in class, posting materials on Blackboard and completing various class-related paperwork. The average number of hours per week is 10-12 hours (more during midterms and finals and less on other weeks) and includes Mondays 5-9pm and other hours scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
