December 9, 2015, 9:30-3: World AIDS Day: Confidential HIV Testing and Awareness Event

2015 World AIDS Day

Confidential HIV Testing

Awareness Event

2015 World AIDS Day will focus on collaborations which strengthen our capacity to reduce new infections with a theme of:

“Focus, Partner, Achieve: An AIDS-free Generation.”

One way to come together and reduce new infections is to fight HIV-related stigma and discrimination, which prevent individuals from getting tested, care and treatment.

You can help reduce stigma and promote HIV testing

by joining us for our World AIDS Day Event!

December 9, 2015

The Graduate Center—Concourse Level

Rooms C197 & C198

This HIV Testing Event is conducted by

the Ryan-NENA Community Health Center for GC students.

A rapid HIV test is a quick and painless oral swab or finger stick test

that produces results in just 20 minutes.

The Ryan-Nena CHC staff will provide comprehensive, confidential

counseling and will connect you quickly to medical services, if needed.

Please allow extra time for a possible wait, signing in and counseling session.

**Please note: The last clients will be seen at 2:40pm,

so please arrive prior to 2:40pm in order to be tested.**

**This event is an excellent way to get the most up-to-date information on HIV/AIDS, other STDs and services available in the NYC area.**
