Dissertation and Thesis Deposit Info Session

RSVP on the library’s events calendar

Are you depositing in the spring or fall of 2024? Do you have questions AND concerns?

The library’s Dissertation Office is holding a one-hour information session that will cover:

  • Overview of the deposit procedure
  • Document and file preparation
  • Copyright concerns
  • Citation & plagiarism
  • Embargoes (access restrictions)

The session will address common concerns of doctoral and master’s students, with some time allotted for individual questions at the end.

The library’s Dissertation Office is holding a one-hour information session that speak in depth about how copyright may impact your work! It will review:

  • Copyright concerns
  • Citations & plagiarism
  • Embargoes (access restrictions)

There will also be some time allotted for individual questions at the end.

Dissertation Office Drop-in Hours (no appointment necessary)

Online, (most) Tuesdays, 2-4pm

Have a last-minute concern about depositing your dissertation or thesis? The library’s Dissertation Office dedicates time for drop-in student consultations most Tuesdays from 2-4pm during the semester. No appointments will be scheduled at this time in order to serve students on a drop-in basis. (NB: Students are still welcome to stop by the Dissertation Office in person at other times, or request an appointment during regular business hours by emailing deposit@gc.cuny.edu).
