Fellowship Application Due Date: March 3, 2026

Eligibility Requirements: Students must have been directly impacted by the events of 9/11. Doctoral students must be full-time. Master’s students must be registered for credit.

Description of Fellowship responsibilities and funding details:

Thanks to a generous donation, the Graduate Center can offer this one-time fellowship to two currently enrolled graduate students whose lives were directly impacted by the event of 9/11.

Applications must include a personal statement from the student describing how they were impacted and a personal reference from someone who is familiar with the student’s experience.

The fellowship is worth $23,237 and will be paid out in the spring 2026 semester.
