The Mina Rees Library is hosting a new cohort of the Open Pedagogy Fellowship in Spring 2021. The Fellowship experience provides interactive training about how to find/use openly licensed resources and create a zero-cost syllabus. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply, and can learn more at our orientation session (see below). Applications due on 2/15 by 5pm:

Every month, CUNY’s Office of Research is offering a faculty research development webinar in collaboration with the Research Foundation Office of Award Pre-Proposal Support and the Office of Library Services, see info as follows: 

This webinar will support faculty researchers to comply with public and open access mandates from federal and private funders, addressing the fundamentals of open access, key issues to include in grant proposals, and tools to support compliance.

Accessing Databases and Articles from Off-Campus

February 8 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm 

This workshop will cover basic and advanced methods for accessing articles from on and off-campus. Topics covered will include, off-campus access, finding specific articles, searching entire journals, Google Scholar, Interlibrary Loan, and what to do when you can’t find an article.

This workshop is part of the Science Research Workshop Series. It is geared to science students and faculty but open to all.
