GC Student Assembly Meeting Today: 6:30p-8:30p

On February 22 (goo.gl/EdB9Q6), March 29 (goo.gl/9CdxZN), and April 12 (goo.gl/6qjTuk), dozens of masters and doctoral students from over a dozen Graduate Center programs have gathered to share grievances and plan actions together.

We will meet again on Tuesday, May 3 from 6:30-8:30 in room 8400 to combine efforts on a GC Testimonies survey, PSC strike authorization voting drive (May 2-11! http://www.psc-cuny.org/our-campaigns/campaign-new-cuny-contract), and end-of-semester actions.

As part of a larger CUNY movement, Graduate Center students have stopped tuition increases (for now), pressured President Robinson at Community Meetings and with Counter-Office Hours, and still demand a fair job contract and strike authorization that centers adjuncts’ and students’ concerns. Meanwhile, we focus on activating strategic social justice at our own campus located in the heart of NYC finance capital. We are envisioning more broadly how students and workers can transform the Graduate Center and CUNY for the next academic year and beyond. Join us in this process. RSVP here !!!
