With the Fall semester underway, the Writing Center’s one-on-one consultation services are now back to full capacity.

In individual writing consultations, you can meet with our consultants to discuss your writing in 45-minute video-conference appointments. You can bring all sorts of academic writing, from abstracts, grant proposals, and job cover letters to conference papers, class assignments, journal articles, and dissertation chapters. You can also come to the writing center when you’re at any stage of the writing process, from final polishing to early drafts and even brainstorming. Alternatively, people working on dissertation- and thesis-scale projects may be interested in visiting the writing center on a weekly basis for regular accountability check-ins with their preferred consultant.
