What is WordPress? Wednesday, Oct 12th 6:00 – 8:00 PM
In this workshop you will learn how to use WordPress to create a new website, pages and blogposts, or collaborate as an author on an existing website. Come to a User Group Meeting

Mapping User Group Meetings, Thursday Oct 6th, 4:00 – 5:00 PM
The GIS and Mapping Group is a network of CUNY students, faculty and staff who are interested in sharing methods and techniques, and finding support from others about ways GIS can be used to further research and teaching. In the group, we discuss map mapping concepts and techniques, learn how to use new tools and explore different datasets to practice our storytelling skills with maps. This semester, the mapping group will meet every other week on Thursdays from 4 to 5 PM. In our first meeting on Oct 6th, we will discuss basic mapping concepts and the social and scientific use of maps. Sign-up here!

Python User Group Meeting, Friday Oct 7th, 3:00 – 4:00 PM
Python User Group (or PUG for short) is an open and informal collaborative space for experimentation and exploration with the Python programming language. This week in PUG we will review some of the key concepts learned during the Intro to Python workshop held online on 9/30. If you were not able to attend that workshop but are interested in continuing with the Fall Python Series, this is a great time to catch up and get ready for the next workshop! See here for more details and join our PUG commons group to receive the Zoom link!
