Department/Division/Location: Humanities/School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences 

Hourly Rate of Pay:   $72.60. No benefits.

Responsibilities:  Prepares and delivers instruction in introductory Philosophy courses to a diverse student body.  Provides regular and timely feedback to students and provides innovative classroom instruction to promote student success.  Evening, weekend, morning, and afternoon teaching assignments may be provided.  Actively participates in all Departmental assessments and classroom management requirements.

Qualifications: History and Philosophy

A Master’s degree in History (American, European or Other World Civilizations are all encouraged to apply).

A Master’s Degree in Philosophy discipline with significant graduate course work in Philosophy and one year of practical teaching experience is required.
