March 26-27 “Stuart Hall: Geographies of Resistance”

A two-day gathering of academics, artists, and activists to honor the legacy of Stuart McPhail Hall, the late sociologist and cultural theorist. Through multiple formats participants will examine work that has grown out of Hall’s ground-breaking work on the interrelation of class, race, gender, popular culture, media, language, and power. Here are some highlights that we encourage you to attend:
