Marymount Manhattan College seeks Fall 23 adjunct

For “Plato’s Republic” — 300-level course at Marymount Manhattan College.  Fully remote; meets online (Tuesdays, 7:20-10:00pm).

Course is offered by Dept. of History, Philosophy & Religious Studies, but will be populated by majors/non-majors alike.  Catalogue description: “Plato’s Republic offers an in-depth look at one of the major texts of ancient political thought.  The readings will address such issues as the nature of justice, the status of
women, the role of the artist, and the strengths and weaknesses of democratic systems of government.”
