May 12 Biographies by Former Fellows: Langdon Hammer on James Merrill, Ilan Ehrlich on Eduardo Chibás

Langdon Hammer, chair of the English Department at Yale, will speak on James Merrill: Life and Art (Knopf, April 2015), one of the most eagerly-awaited literary biographies in years, which he worked on as a fellow of the Leon Levy Center for Biography. Ilan Ehrlich, who completed his PhD as a dissertation fellow, will speak on his biography Eduardo Chibás: The Incorrigible Man of Cuban Politics (Rowman & Littlefield, April 2015).
