Mercy College’s history program is currently recruiting adjunct instructors to teach online and in person for the spring 2019 semester. Instructors must have at least an M.A. in history or be ABD in history.

The history program wishes to recruit those who would like to build their C.V. and those who are interested in having a larger teaching portfolio when entering the job market. Those who teach for Mercy online will receive specific training to teach online and everyone who teaches, online or in person, will be provided with a teaching observation and feedback.

We are looking for instructors for the following online classes:

HIST 101 European History to 1500
HIST 102 European History from 1500
HIST 105 American History through 1877
HIST 106 American History since 1877

We are also looking for one instructor to teach HIST 117 introduction to Asian History in Manhattan on Thursday afternoons.
