New York State Association of European Historians – graduate student Conference Internships

The New York State Association of European Historians invites applications for five graduate student Conference Internships.

Interns will be responsible for running the registration table, the technology for the keynote address (Friday October 7) and live streamed panels (Saturday October 8), and any other conference-related duties. Each intern will receive a stipend of $1000. There are no conference fees, but interns will be responsible for arranging travel and lodging themselves. Interns will need to be on site by 12pm on Friday, October 7 for orientation, and should expect to be available until 7pm on Saturday, October 8.

To apply, send a CV and a brief letter of interest to NYSAEH Vice President Averill Earls, averill.earls@gmail.com by September 15. Some experience with video conference software and equipment is preferred.

Graduate students already accepted to the conference are encouraged to apply.

These opportunities were made possible thanks to a generous grant from the American Historical Association and National Endowment for the Humanities. The American Historical Association’s Grants to Sustain and Advance the Work of Historical Organizations Program provides relief to institutions adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
