A group of CUNY educators is conducting research to inquire about the use of Open Educational Resource (OER) and other free-of-charge materials in 2020 classes taught by CUNY adjunct faculty and graduate student-faculty. In particular, we’re interested in how the decision to use free learning materials was informed by the period of Covid-19, austerity measures in education funding, and a renewed #BlackLivesMatter movement.
