Queens College seeks an Americanist to work as a grader

The History Department at Queens College seeks an Americanist to work as a grader for the second half of the U.S. survey (1865 – present). The primary duty for this job is to grade two batches of approximately 60 short papers, one at the time of the midterm; one, for the final. Additional duties include helping out proctoring (but not grading) quizzes and exams. Class meets M,W 10:45-12:00. Side benefit: the successful candidate will pick up on-the-job training and skills in large lecture-format U.S. survey classroom management and instruction from an experienced instructor.
