Society of Fellows Columbia University fellowship for recent PhD graduates

We have just opened the fellowship competition at Columbia for the Society of Fellows in the Humanities. As you may know, the fellowship is a two or three-year, Mellon-grant funded fellowship that allows recent PhD graduates to do research and teach at Columbia. It is one of the oldest fellowship programs in the United States.

The current competition is for the 2014-2015 academic year and we are welcoming applications from students who received their PhD between 1 January 2012 and 1 July 2014. We would appreciate greatly if you would spread the word about the competition being open and encourage your students to apply.

All the details on the competition can be found here. http://www.columbia.edu/cu/societyoffellows/fellowship.html

We are trying to get the word out as much as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions at all.

Thanks so much,
