Sound Studies Working Group Meeting: December 7th at 2 PM

This fall the Sound Studies and Methods Working Group is holding monthly co-working sessions on Zoom. Given the recent resurgence interest in sound studies across the Graduate Center, we’re thrilled to bring the community together once more! Our meeting next month is scheduled for December 7th (Mon) at 2pm.

Meetings are open calls anyone interested may join to either receive support or feedback from others who are working on sound projects themselves. We define “sound projects” quite broadly. They could include sound data analysis, podcasting, or oral histories. During meetings, we often talk through shared challenges such as recording and editing technologies through presentation of our work. At least one GCDI Fellow will be on the call who can answer questions and help you troubleshoot issues as they arise.

To make sure that you are kept up-to-date, please join our working group. This will also be where we share the Zoom meeting link to our meetings.

These sessions are open to individuals affiliated with CUNY Graduate Center.
