St Joseph’s University seeking adjunct

St Joseph’s University in Brooklyn, New York is seeking adjunct/s to teach one section of American History Part 1 Mondays and Wednesdays 1110-1235 and one section of The Non Western World  on Mondays and Wednesdays from 935-1100.  We’d be happy to have the same person teaching both sections. The courses run from Jan 23 to May 10.

The American history course is a general survey, but you are, of course, free to choose your own books and curriculum. It’s a survey from colonial era through the Civil War and is expected to have around 25 students (30 is the limit).

The Non-Western World is a survey of history outside of the North American and European arena. It can be designed very much to the specialty of the instructor. That course also caps at 30

The campus is located in the lovely Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, and you will have use of the university facilities (office, gym, etc).

Salary depends on degree, but is approximately $3100.
