The History Department at the Spence School, a private all-girls school located on the Upper East Side of New York City, seeks substitute teachers for the 2018-2019 academic year. An academic background in the discipline of history and/or race and ethnic studies, as well as a demonstrated interest in pedagogy, are strongly preferred. A flexible schedule and an ability to teach both middle and high school are required.
