Two article prizes from the Society for Italian Historical Studies

The Society for Italian Historical Studies (SIHS) is a professional organization designed to encourage the study and teaching of Italian history and culture. It promotes teaching, research, and publication in any period or field of Italian history and culture, awards prizes to students and established scholars for original contributions to these fields, sponsors conferences and lectures, cooperates with other organizations and groups that share its goals, promotes the exchange of ideas and information among all persons interested in Italian history and culture. The SIHS is an affiliated society of the American Historical Association.

SHS is currently offering two article prizes to promote work by junior scholars (either doing their PhD or within 6 years of finishing) on Italian History:
