About This Panel 

Hear from Graduate Center alumni on the tenure track. This panel will help you understand the ins and outs of the academic job search and life as a recent tenure track professor. Panelists will discuss how to prepare for the job search, what helped them get an appointment, and the first years of an assistant professorship. This panel will be part discussion among panelists and part Q&A format, with time devoted to student questions.
