York College is “looking for an adjunct for this Summer July 1-25 for the morning session 9-12 Monday-Thursday to teach Intro to American to York Early College Academy (YECA) high school students. They are advanced high school students who are taking Intro to American for college credit. (The class is taught like any other section of college level Intro to American.) The books will be ordered for you and there are sample syllabi available.

The YECA sections tend to run small, probably around 15-25; sometimes fewer. I will be able to confirm class sizes later in the semester. The students are usually very motivated.
