3/12 – Teaching History Writing Conference at the GC (registration now open!)
Registration for the inaugural Teaching History Writing Conference on Friday, March 12, 2021 is now open. We have been able to assemble a wonderful group of participants for our day-long conference. Registration for this free, virtual conference, will be open until March 10, 2021.
The day will include a keynote address by Dr. Katherine Pickering Antonova, Associate Professor of History at Queens College–CUNY and author of The Essential Guide to Writing History Essays.
The conference will also include the following sessions:
Session 1 – Using Music, Media and Literature to Design Meaningful Writing Assignments
Session 2 – Writing for the Real World: Practical Historical Writing
Session 3 – Teaching and Grading to Student Learning Outcomes
Session 4 – Assignment Workshopping Session
