Molly Heintz, editor of Oculus, quarterly of the American Institute of Architects’ New York chapter, speaks with Elizabeth Macaulay-Lewis (author of Housing the New Romans) and Matthew McGowan (head of the Classics Department at Fordham University and President of the New York Classical Club) about their new book, Classical New York — the first work to investigate the imposing legacy of classical architecture in Gotham, the “city of tomorrow.”
