The Koonja Mitchell Memorial Prize awards $500 to an outstanding dissertation project about militarism, violence, trauma, and/or social justice. This prize is open to any student enrolled in a PhD program at The Graduate Center. To be considered for the award, students should submit a 10-page dissertation prospectus, a letter of recommendation from their advisor, and a CV to csws@gc.cuny.edu.
