Carnegie Educational Technology Fellows program – help for GC faculty and students who teach

The Carnegie Educational Technology Fellows program invites GC faculty and students from the humanities, social sciences, and sciences to drop in to our daily office hours, where they can discuss classroom-related matters ranging from how to use platforms such as Zoom, Blackboard, and the CUNY Academic Commons to how to design assignments using open-access materials, how to create conduct digital ethnographies, and how to design engaging and interactive online class sessions.

 

No appointments are needed for office hours, which will be held at the following times this semester:

 

Mondays: 9 am-11 am

Tuesday: 2 pm-4pm

Wednesday: 9am-11am and 5pm-7pm

Thursday: 9am-11am and 3-5 pm

Friday: 9-11 am

About the Carnegie Ed Tech Fellows

The Carnegie Educational Technology Fellowship Program provides faculty with walk-in office hour support, intensive consultations, workshops, and other support services during the Spring and Fall 2021 semesters.This fellowship’s long-term goals are to expand faculty comfort with educational technologies during the COVID-19 era and after in preparation for the return to in-person instructional modalities. This fellowship program is generously funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
