March 6 The Adjunct Project: Unfunded & Underfunded Students Strategizing Meeting

Tuesday, March 6 | 6pm-8pm, GC room 5409
Snacks will be provided!

Approximately 30% of incoming graduate students do not receive full five-year funding packages, and among currently-enrolled students, the percentage is likely even higher.

Underfunded students who only receive tuition waivers contend with out-sized obstacles to successfully completing their doctoral programs including scrambling to piece together a living, exclusion from some fellowships and being left to compete for a limited number of extremely precarious adjunct and GA positions – any of which may be revoked at the last minute.

We need to fight for fair and equal funding packages for all graduate students.

Join organizers from the Adjunct Project and other underfunded students at a strategy meeting to share your experiences and build towards full funding for all.
