YAI Network Fellowship

The Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies announces a competition to select one YAI Fellow for the Spring 2013 semester. The YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities Network has awarded a grant to the CLACLS to support a $1,000 fellowship for a Ph.D. student at The Graduate Center.

The competition is open to students at The Graduate Center who:

* are enrolled in a doctoral program;

* are conducting research on any topic related to Latinos with developmental disabilities or Latinos and health.

The grant will be awarded on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the 9th YAI Latino Conference. The recipient of the award must be present on the day of the conference at least for the award ceremony.

IN ORDER TO APPLY: Interested students should submit a curriculum vitae and a one-page application which includes the following:

* Name

* Address

* Doctoral Program

* Field of Study

* A one paragraph explanation of their research interests

* A student copy of their Graduate Center transcript
